Melanie Costanzo is a born and raised proud Ohio native. She loves all things Ohio: Cleveland Sports, hiking the state's metro parks, supporting local artists and entrepreneurs, and stuffing her face inside the local food scene.
She received her start at Kent State University where she took a year of graphic design through their Visual Communications Design program. Following, she decided to pursue a photography degree at Cuyahoga Community College. As a result of both artistic background educations, Melanie enjoys creatively marrying graphic design elements into her photography to give them more of an editorial or magazine push.
Melanie stumbled into photography at a young age. She was always so mesmerized by the invention of a handheld machine that had the capability to "freeze" a moment in time so it could be saved to last forever. It's one of life's precious gifts to the world; to be able to look at one photo and suddenly spark so many memories that it feels like the magic of a moment is happening all over again for the first time. Through color, composition, and a gift for perfect timing, Melanie captures timeless photography no matter the occasion.
